EXPO - Celebrating Business is an annual event produced by the Greater EMC Chamber and EXPO 2023 was the most successful one to date.
This fun, friendly, and informative event helps the Chamber advocate for the local business economy by providing a platform for companies to highlight and promote their business.
What makes it fun & friendly? Booth Visit Bingo! A record number of bingo cards were distributed this year, and attendees played by visiting every booth before they could turn them in to be eligible for the more than $2500 in chamber membership prize drawings.
Informative breakout sessions were also part of EXPO 2023. Several topics were covered providing valuable information that attendees could apply to themselves and to their businesses. Everyone who attended one session also received a voucher for a free chamber monthly luncheon!
A successful EXPO includes educating and motivating others and this year’s keynote speaker was former Houston Texan and author JJ Moses. JJ shared his inspirational story of how he made it to the NFL, and at only 5’6”, the odds were not in his favor. How did he do it? Focus. JJ shared how staying focused made it happen and provided tips on how to do it. It was the perfect message to help others and to promote his new book titled Focused.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s EXPO. You make us Proud to be EMC.
